Directions and Parking

Take the hassle out of navigating traffic and campus streets by mapping out your STEM Girl Day plan in advance. See the Google Map of STEM Girl Day for location information. Find the information below to help you plan your trip to campus:

CapMetro

While finding parking on UT’s Campus can be a challenge, finding a transit line that gets you there is easy! Try transit to and from UT’s campus.

Register to attend STEM Girl Day by February 22 to get access to FREE digital bus and train passes from CapMetro to STEM Girl Day.

CapMetro costs less than covered parking (but register by February 21 and sign up for the free bus/train pass and it will be FREE!) and you’ll avoid circling the area looking for a spot. Check out the Trip Planning website with this CapMetro Trip Planner link.

*Note: Kids under 18 ALWAYS ride CapMetro buses and trains for FREE!

Transit Routes: 1, 3, 7, 10,  18, 20, 30, 801, & 803 will get you there!

Partnering with BCycle, CapMetro has added MetroBike to the family! To reserve your MetroBike, we recommend downloading both the CapMetro App & BCycle app so that you can choose from the widest variety of bike passes and on-the-go reservation information

Using the CapMetro Trip Planner, navigate from your location to one of the following stops or any other university-area stop:

Bus Loading and Unloading

Review the Bus Instructions Newsletter for instructions, maps and more.

See the Campus Map for the unloading area for buses. The easiest, safest and ONLY location for bus unloading and loading is the 23rd Street circle drive off of San Jacinto Blvd. It is a short walk to the Speedway Mall, WEL, and POB where STEM Girl Day activities are hosted.

Buses are not allowed to load or unload on Dean Keeton or Speedway as this will create traffic jams.

Bus parking is not available on campus. Contact wistem@utexas.edu with questions or to learn about off-campus bus parking options.
