Year after year, volunteers help make Girl Day a success. We welcome three types of volunteers for a variety of roles, Group Volunteers, UT Student Volunteers, and Community Volunteers.

08:00 a.m. Girl Day Coordinators Check-in
08:30 a.m. Set-up Volunteers Check-in
10:00 a.m. Activity & Organization Leads Check-in (may set-up earlier; Girl Day volunteer shirt distribution begins at 10 a.m.)
10:30 a.m. All Volunteers Checked-in by this Time
10:45 a.m. Safety Training for All Volunteers in Activity Classrooms
11:15 a.m. All Activities Ready to Open to Participants - Girl Day Start Time = 11:30 AM
04:00 p.m. Closing Shows Start; Direct Participants to Closing Shows
04:30 p.m. Activities Formally Close; Volunteers Begin Clean-up
05:00 p.m. Closing Shows End
Volunteer Description & Applications
Organization & Group Volunteers
If your group, organization or company signs up as a 2020 Girl Day Partner, you DO NOT need to complete any other step to volunteer for the event. The Girl Day leads and main contacts for corporate, non-profit, government units, education, transportation, and student group partners are coordinating volunteers for their particular Girl Day involvement.
Individual UT Student Volunteers
We welcome currently enrolled UT students to volunteer with Girl Day at UT. Volunteer registration is closed. If your organization or lab is participating, check with them for volunteer opportunties.
Individual Community (Non-UT) Volunteers
We welcome community members to volunteer as individuals with Girl Day at UT. Volunteer registration is closed. If your organization or company is participating, check with them for volunteer opportunties.
