Be a STEM Girl Day volunteer and STEM role model!
STEM Girl Day at UT Austin Volunteering
The Volunteer Application is open annually from early January though the Monday prior to the event.
Volunteer Restrictions and Groups
If you are volunteering with a student organization, research group or other organization that has someone coordinating your volunteering & activity listed on our partners page, you DO NOT need to apply here UNLESS you want to help with set-up or clean-up or activities outside your other volunteer responsibilities.
Please use the volunteer application to volunteer for STEM Girl Day if you are NOT affiliated with an organization that is leading a presentation, activity, or demo. The volunteer application form is for general volunteers to help with set-up, clean-up, info tents, activities, photography, etc.
If you are volunteering with a group of 5 or more people who want to help with set-up, clean-up, info tents, or supporting partnering organization activities, please contact WiSTEM first before completing the volunteer form. Your group's name will be added to the group selection question on this form for easier matching. Group volunteering options may be limited.
Please note that volunteering is restricted to those 18 years old and above due to Youth Protection Policies on campus. K-8th graders should participate in the day with an adult chaperone.
