STEM Girl Day Shows & Closing Pep Rally

While most activities and demonstrations are continuously running throughout the event, STEM Girl Day features a few shows at designated times throughout the day. STEM Girl Day closes with a Pep Rally.

Texas Robotics Demonstrations

Visit the Anna Hiss Gymnasium, the home of Texas Robotics, for demonstrations with real robots, including Medical Robotics, Autonomous Robotics, Robot Manipulation, or Nuclear and Applied Robotics. Demonstrations will be visible to anyone in the courtyard area. Courtyard space is limited but demonstrations will be repeated throughout the day.

Mystical Potions & Science Notions: The Magic of Chemistry

Welcome to your first Potions class! Watch as elixirs change color, fire is summoned, foam erupts, & thunderclouds form in this enchanting display of chemistry. Presented by UT Austin Chemistry Demonstrations Laboratory.

Show Schedule: 45 minute shows repeated at 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.

The UT Austin Physics Circus

Enjoy fascinating physics that surround our daily lives. Watch phenomenal physics demonstrations, answer fun physics questions, and volunteer in hands-on experiments. 

Show Schedule: 45 minute shows repeated at 12:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.

Closing Pep Rally

Pep Rally Schedule: 4:00 - 4:15 p.m.

Join the Science Cheerleaders and other UT Austin Spirit Groups and student organizations for our closing STEM Girl Day Pep Rally. Meet at the EER West Lawn/Stage at 4:00 p.m. Learn the Science Cheer and Texas Fight:

Pep Rally ends by about 4:15 and participants will Science Cheer & Texas Fight with volunteers towards the 27th Street and Speedway Parking Garages and the bus loading/unloading area!
