STEM Girl Day Shows & Closing Pep Rally
While most activities and demonstrations are continuously running throughout the event, STEM Girl Day features a few shows at designated times throughout the day. STEM Girl Day closes with a Pep Rally.
Texas Robotics Demonstrations
Visit the courtyard of the Anna Hiss Gymnasium (AHG), the home of Texas Robotics, for demonstrations with real robots, including Medical Robotics, Autonomous Robotics, Robot Manipulation, or Nuclear and Applied Robotics. Demonstrations will be repeated throughout the day inside the building. This year, Texas Robotics will not be offering tours.
Demonstration Schedule: Beginning at 11:30 a.m., robot demonstrations will occur every 15 minutes with the last one starting at 2 p.m. You may join us for a demo at 11:30 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:15 p.m., 12:30 p.m., 12:45 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 1:45 p.m., and 2 p.m.

Mystical Potions & Science Notions: The Magic of Chemistry
Welcome to your first Potions class! Watch as elixirs change color, fire is summoned, foam erupts, & thunderclouds form in this enchanting display of chemistry. Presented by UT Austin Chemistry Demonstrations Laboratory.
Show Schedule: 45 minute shows repeated at 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.

Enjoy the fascinating physics that surrounds our daily lives. Watch phenomenal physics demonstrations, answer fun physics questions, and volunteer in hands-on experiments.

Love rockets? Join the UT Austin Longhorn Rocketry Association for rocket model launches on the Gregory Gym Plaza. Participate in a stomp rocket activity, join in a coloring activity, and check out our rocket exhibit on display from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Learn how you can get involved in helping our competition rocket fly!
