STEM Girl Day Shows, Tours, Closing Pep Rally
While most activities and demonstrations are continuously running throughout the event, STEM Girl Day features a few tours and the 45 minute shows shared below at designated times throughout the day. STEM Girl Day closes with a Pep Rally.
Texas Robotics Tours and Exploration
Visit the Anna Hiss Gymnasium, the home of Texas Robotics, to interact with real robots and learn about robotic concepts, including Medical Robotics, Autonomous Robotics, Robot Manipulation, or Nuclear and Applied Robotics. To attend the tours during STEM Girl Day at UT Austin, pre-reserved tickets are required. Each tour is 15 or 20 minutes long and has a maximum capacity of 25 people and run throughout the event. TOURS are FULL at this time. Search the Activity/Event Database for other Robot activities.
Tour Schedule: Every 15-20 minutes throughout the event. Secure tickets for a specific tour time on EventBrite in order to participate in a tour. TOURS ARE FULL but check out all the other robot activities.

The Grow Up Garden: From Seed to STEM - Book Reading & Activity
Join book author and Lake Travis High School junior, Evangeline Gatz, for a reading and hands-on activity based on her book, The Grow Up Garden: From Seed to STEM. From the book description: "This beautifully illustrated children's book unfolds the story of Poppy, who, unsure of her future aspirations, finds inspiration through a series of magical encounters with women excelling in STEM fields."

Reactive Radiance: The Explosive Elegance of Chemistry
Experience the magic of chemistry in 'Reactive Radiance' — a show full of colorful explosions, eruptive reactions, & even indoor thunderclouds. Join us for an elegant symphony of scientific marvels. Presented by Chemistry Demonstrations Lab at UT Austin.
Show Schedule: 45 minute shows repeated at 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.

The UT Austin Physics Circus
Enjoy fascinating physics that surround our daily lives. Watch phenomenal physics demonstrations, answer fun physics questions, and volunteer in hands-on experiments.

Join the Science Cheerleaders and other UT Austin Spirit Groups and student organizations for our closing STEM Girl Day Pep Rally. Meet at the EER West Lawn/Stage at 4:00 p.m. Learn the Science Cheer and Texas Fight:

Pep Rally ends by about 4:15 and participants will Science Cheer & Texas Fight with volunteers towards the 27th Street and Speedway Parking Garages and the bus loading/unloading area!
